Lunch cruises

There used to be some lunch cruises at Luxor. One boat used to ply leisurely up and down between Iberotel and Karnak (as far as one could tell while sitting at Blue Sky).

Last Friday I saw M/S Tower Prestige turning near Banana Island. Was this a lunch cruise, or had they forgotten some VIPs?

A couple of times earlier this winter I've seen another boat turn a little further upstream at about the same time on a Friday.
