So have heeded advice and moved the 'fly-trap incorporating a very clever pulley system.

There are reams of information in The US Patents Dept all online: a snippet...
For those budding 'fly-catchers wherever they may be.. 8)

"As a generality it can be said that the fly attractants known to the prior art are formulated to attract either the house fly or the blow fly, but none are known to have substantial utility in attracting both of them. One of the reasons that the attractants known in the prior art are specific to one or the other of these two species of flies is that the blow fly and the house fly do not eat the same kind of food. The blow fly, for one, thrives on decaying meats including red meats, chicken and fish. House flies, on the other hand, subsist mainly on rotten vegetables and animal feces. Because of these natural predispositions, blow flies are more often found outdoors, perhaps in the woods, feeding on dead animals. House flies, on the other hand, feed on food wastes and other garbage and can be found in and around the home and garbage containers. The house fly is also strongly attracted to locations where animal feces are abundant which includes barns, cow pastures, chicken coups and the like. Disclosure of the Invention ect............

Not going off topic to much but just noticed the gender signs,
I think you have forgotten a few new ones.... 8)

Ps: I just knew they would be inventing new ones probably a lot more to come, self harmers, necrophilastes, bestiality,
list is endless..........'not forgetting those into frotteurism, or J Savill's favorite abasiophilia.

Pondering on our next Artisan Market (tba) I have decided against selling cats baskets, including Cat didn't work.
The home made, Sriracha Sauce (USA Red-Rooster) is just too good to sell.....'So
Another ingenious idea! FLY TRAPS plus, I will also sell my innovative 'secret formula™ and all it's ingredients.

Having had various fly traps for a few years I'm becoming a bit of an expert.
Oh! the 'clothes-peg (not included) the contents fell on me twice due to a broken locating lug.
Had to jump under the shower pdq, clothes straight in the 'macwa. The stuff doesn't half 'pen and ink, stink.

This after 2 days as well.."every garden should have one or two even three"

Sorry my dear Dr but 'Macwa' I'm not sure but that means iron, as in the Arab term and not the cockney, if you get my drift.

I only say this because many many years ago, it seemed it was only I who had a Macwa (iron), and believe it or not but in my village it seemed only I owned such a thing. It was often loaned out, then being returned damaged as a result of young girls ironing their brothers shirts at a too high temperature, or synthetic material, and we all know what then happens to a dry iron.

One day I went to visit an old lady friend, and noticed a box which read, Murphy Richard's Super Steam Iron. Apparently, it had cost her son in Cairo a small fortune, having told his mother the price, she always kept it as a precious thing, and always borrowing mine, while I had to clean it every time she used it with wire brush.

Oh those happy days living in Egypt, I know only too well. :wi .

Had a pal round yesterday, For those with a 'Pharaonic bent,
She is re-excavating KV10 and KV 63 and loves my idea of me selling fly traps at the next
Artisan Market due at the end of August tba..... 8)

Ps: She is also up for mummifying Max as and when, he 'shuffles off his mortal coil.
She's only done cats so far...
Pss: I'm also trying to convince her & Nick in a TV programme, cleverly titled The Anubis Project..tbc 'inshaala!

Our Bettany was helping Salima to mummify a cat in last nights programme of her sailing (well actually being towed) down the Nile, very enjoyable.

So not bad going with my secret formula and new improved sunshade..
Considering a fly lives on average of 30 days and can produce 500 offspring, Now that's a lot of dead flies.... 8)

Did you also notice her sampling the fragrance of the Blue Lotus. You missed a trick there Doctor, could have got her into your gaff to see yours.
