I asked the Lord to tell me,

Why my flat is such a mess.

He asked if I'd been 'computing',

I had to answer yes.

He told me to get off my backside,

An interesting clip from 1931.

I imagine the Sphinx enclosure is still prone to sand storms...but can't recall reading of any cleaning efforts on this scale :lol:

Interesting old film clip, comparing it to the present day it would seem that those surrounding sand dunes were never really cleared away properly, so each year they would creep back towards the base...

18 years ago I had 6 huts on the Nile, £5quid a night...

16 years ago I went deep into the desert with our intrepid explorer/writer/nutter Twiggers looking for something...

We found it as shown...

Last post

there are ridiulously long words in it. I have to guess quite a lot. It may take a while. If I had to look them up it would take about 5 years. I will persevere
