Well local rumor and all the Police and painting going on from The Nile up to the VOK, they
our locals tell me Trumps relations are visiting today.

So that puts local shopping in abeyance.
Mind You as it's anything to do with that Vile Trump Family, it is probably all Fake News !!...

Sadly it wasn't fake news, the West Bank roads were chaos! Closed for hours & apparently they even closed the VOK for his daughter! I guess the East Bank was even worse but don't know for sure

From my roof the traffic jam on the Aswan-Cairo road was miles in each direction for 5 hours.
And that's not taking into account all the egyptian drivers that "love to overtake anything and every thing causing
the evermore turmoil from tourist coaches, donkey drivers, fire engines, police, kerbashers, long distance
container trucks, taxis and all the walking public. Total classic Egyptian chaos, totally hilarious.

Lounging on my roof G&T in hand, waving at the tourist filled coaches wondering which ones didn't have
onboard toilets. No one waved back, not surprisingly !



I wish I could have seen the chaos at the Check Point normally 'radio rental 'mental, at most times,
especially when the schools kick out...lol

I wonder what Tiffany thought of her food ? "Will The Duck lower Egypt's 10 % tax ?....

Typical of a visit by American big wigs. They closed the VOK for the day just for their visit. All the people coming on the Hurghada buses and local tourists were blocked from going to the valley. Remember they had to pay up front for tickets and were then dissappointed. Exceptionalism for the rich!

I got mixed up in the traffic chaos when I went to the Thebes Hotel for my Saturday massage as we had to go all round the back roads to get there and back.
