[face=Comic Sans MS]Have you got owls nearby? They can make some alarming sounds when they're on the hunt. Not the gentle 'twoo wit twoo', but some times a screeching and at othertimes an altogether different sound that could be somewhat frightening if you were a bit jumpy. I understand that rabbits also make a loud squeeling sound once they have been cought as prey for fox or bird of prey.[/face]Phantom wrote:Thanks Fran - we like to hear your update. Tell me, I'm not sure, but I think we hear a lot of fox noises here in the evenings, but the sound is really scary, rather like somebody being murdered.
[face=Comic Sans MS]If that's the case I must be living in a Fox hole.Phantom wrote:Hmm, I'll have to get the Q's to listen out for it. Somebody told me it was foxes having sex? Maybe that's just an old wives tale, I don't know.
That'll be why there are no cubs then!!sue wrote:Only just seen this Fran how wonderful to be seeing the cubs. Will you bring a DVD with you in July to the meeting?
I still have the vixen Lady visiting but alas no cubs and we have not seen a dog fox in months.
