I think I'm doing this in the hopes of catching the "PERFECT" photo as in quantity vs quality and am thinking I have to slow down, take more time, aim and shoot with some of the different elements in mind (rule of thirds etc etc etc). I really have gone 'hog wild' and got myself so many photos it was too much "WERK" going through and actually deleting and trying to figure out which is the best then making it even MORE perfect!

On another note - Gee Grandad that soulds super spiffy if all you have to do is push a button on the D5000 and you've got a movie. WOW! Technology is amazing. Is there a wire or summen that lets you watch your movies on the telly?
Watching my own photos on the !!!!WIDE SCREEN!!!! (of the telly) would be fab but dunna have a clue how to do that.

By the by - I also got the monopod and with just that much steadying the camera it makes a world of difference. Just a cheapy cause was not too sure how much I'd use it but now that I'm seeing crisper photos I have a feeling I'm going to using it LOTS!
