  Glad you have the same problem with raiding Squirrels :) My latest attempt is:

(1)A floppy collar around a Birch tree to stop them climbing up! :)

(2) A set of feaders suspended by a pulley system so that it hangs from a thin branch. :)

(3) An inverted plastic seed tray that is above the feeders and from which they hang, this will tilt if anything heavy gets onto it. :)

Will it work? not a hope!

The answer to the squirrel raiders is -I just feed them too!! There is a great site called "ark" to get bulk deliveries of bird/squirrel food, they like monkey nuts hazelnuts and as a treat walnuts! We have one with a ? injured /deformed tail that hops along, they are fun to watch with the nuts, and tend to leave the bird feeders alone :)

H -the ash grove is a traditional English(or is that Welsh!) song, here sung by Nana Mouskouri :? :)

Bloody hell Jewel, not Nana Mouskouri :x
I would gladly give here back those Elgin Marbles if she just stopped making records. ;)

Nah, only kidding it sounds quite nice, however I know a better version to that tune, it goes along the lines of:
“She came from Glamorgan, had boobs like a barrel organ” and continues with something about a ‘Dickie di do’ Does anyone else in the rugby fraternity know the song?
