And they get away with it so easily as those that are launched in such an undignified way are not able to complain. That's why since moving here I don't go to funerals, I'll go to my own, but that's it.

Been to different funerals here, first one a Christian burial following requiem mass at the Catholic church, very respectful. Next a Muslim burial which I thought was lovely. Carried to the graveyard and then placed on a shelf in the grave, covered with a white cloth and on his side facing Mecca. Then Stan's which I am sorry to say was a shambles all round but no doubt would have amused him. Carol's was a service at the Catholic Church then internment up at Tiba, went to the church but not to Tiba. The service was quite moving in parts with Kim reading a letter from her daughter and Jan reading a lovely poem. Nothing disrespectful about that part.
