Yes and a lot of misunderstanding leads to arrogance.
I really thought Frater that you had some explainable reason for your claims re the sphinx but just having a "feeling" about things just isn't good enough.

Quote: "Someone built the pyramid and it was not the Egyptians.
Well certainly not the ones I know, that I can guarantee, I'll even put money on it.
So with all this conjecture Whom exactly built the Great Pyramid of Cheops [sic]
1. Why does it bother you ?
2. What would you do if you knew ?
3. Will it change your life ?
Just come sit in and under the Great Pyramid and then ask your question again.... 8)
Ps: Good thing about life is, if you stop asking questions You are already dead!

And that arrogance is usually the arrogance of someone’s unsupportable pet theory being presented as fact even in the face of overwhelming historical evidence to the contrary. 8)

Anyhow we don't know who built the sphinx. So many theories yet no definitive.

On the erosion on the Sphinx. I'm wondering if the great flood did occur but not in a biblical sense but via the Ice Age. Perhaps the last of the glaciers and large icebergs melted thus flooded out the area.
