Temples yes. Tombs yes. Museums yes. Pile of ancient rubbish (totally fascinating!) yes. Desert walk yes. Interesting mosque yes. Shopping? Absolutely no way!

Although I do seem to remember that Carrie did quite a lot of shopping while she was in Datca, but she did it alone!!

Looking forward to this trip I am sure they have shops in Sohag.might even have a look round the souk especially if we have a police attendees again whilst browsing.
