Call him what you will (as many do!) but I believe that he did more for Egypt's tourism than anyone else did in the past 50 years!

From personal experience and that of friends living here he has definitely got a reputation for being "inappropriate" with ladies and grabbing the acclaim from other who did the original work. Not someone I find likeable.
