I'm somewhat relieved to be amongst a nest of drug users/advisers discussing the street value of illegal and/or controlled substances.
I think Big Brother is likely to be more interested in their activities than mine

I did say after my last visit to Egypt that I thought it would be my last, I just wasn't thinking in terms of it potentially being drug related at the time!

I'm sure there's a spare cell in the Hurghada calaboosh for you...and a fellow Brit to chat with

Anyone taking Viagra alone, with the idea of getting high, would be sorely disappointed..
Presumably its taken alongside cocaine or other recreational drugs which have a tendency to make the spirit willing, but the flesh weak....or at least limp.

I don’t think that getting high has anything to to with it, rather a case of having a good night out and shall we say “able to meet the challenge” although why any young guy without some sort of real medical problem feels the need to take Viagra is beyond me, but then again the younger generation do seem a bit less capable in many ways than when I was a lad.

But then I image your substance of choice, on a night out, was alcohol which, unless taken to considerable excess, doesn't seriously inhibit performance.
Modern, and highly illegal, recreational drugs can do wonders for the libido but have an unfortunate side effect - for many - when it comes to expressing that libido in a meaningful fashion. Hence the viagra.
If the reports are true, expect a sharp increase in stroke/heart attack incidents. The combination of coke/speed with viagra is likely to put a severe strain on one's blood pressure.

Well if that's all you're going to make it's barely worth your effort trying to flog em on in this day and age. Might just as well keep them for personal use.

So pleased you sorted out your correct medication MD.
Now, to quickly explain what I mean by the 'retail' price. Fortunately, the likes of you or myself wanting to obtain the retail, or street price for a one tab Tramadol at £5 are very slim, for the simple reason being that getting caught by the police on street corner near certain venues is very high. That person takes a great risk being caught as a supplier, therefore his or her profits will certainly reflect this.

One of the freakiest drug related stories I ever heard related to cocaine. I am reminded of this from the Viagra comment. A man probably already high at the time decided to inject cocaine into his erect penis. Sadly he ended up losing his arms and legs as a result.simple message is don't mess with hard drugs as they clearly make you do crazy stuff.
Drugs either make the user do crazy stuff or it has those who want them get others to do crazy stuff. When I watch 'Banged up abroad' the Brit TV series about people who having been persuade to be drug mules then get caught I see now easy people are persuaded to forfeit their liberty for a quick buck.
If she was persuaded by Omar I hope they show leniency. It now has world attention so Egyptian authorities while exacting the law hopefully will want to come out of this without looking like the bad guys. But they must also not look weak and so make an example of her sending a message to others.
The message has certainly been received loud and clear. Her ordeal has made us all aware we cannot afford to be ignorant of the laws of the lands we travel to.i am sure the Rough Guide will update it's info on this matter.

Makes your eyes water just to think about it.
But then, if you are going to inject mind-altering substances, choosing a spot directly connected to your brain makes sense

Ps: Did that drug mule from Hull ever get to hear who's on I'm a Celebrity
