Talking to my favourite fruit shop owner tonight in Karnak he intimated that his mother used to make jam / jelly from Pumkin. Knowing that I make jam and preserves he asked if I would try my hand at it.
Problem .... I cannot find a recipe for it.
Does anyone know if Pumkin has enough Pectin to set jam, or do I need to use lemon for that purpose. How much sugar to the Klg of pumpkin.
I have tried the internet for guidance, including that font of all food wisdom Martha Stewart. All to no avail.

Help required.

Thanks jojo. I looked on the internet also and found nothing. Do you remember what site you went to to find it as I would like to have a look myself.
