Yeah!!! They just come back into season! Was desperate for one last month but not a one to be found! Bought myself a humongous bag of them and roasted a load of them at once, to stop me getting overheated!! Popped one into the microwave for my lunch with a tiny bit of salt on. Lovely!!!

I just love sweet potato, baked as a jacket, roasted or even boiled and mashed with loads od salt and ground black pepper. I do the same with butternut squash...can you get those in Egypt as well?

I've seen butternut squash here - the only thing is they only seem to come in monster sizes - and they really are HUGE!! They generally seem to be about half metre in length with the fat end about the size of a large football!! I've never bought one just because it's tooooooo big!

Oh I LOVE mashed potatoes/sweet potatoes mix!

Half potatoes and the other half sweet potatoes, then add some garlic, fresh tarragon, salt and perhaps some black pepper. Dangerously delicious!
