Just returned from Hurgharda about to enter the fray with freshly caught this mornings Lobsters, we thought 15 minutes boiling with garlic butter and only £10 quid a kilo, if only we had a bottle of Chablis to-boot, the 'Sweaty say's he's happy with 'Stella and he loved the Russian birds and the Red sea it 'made him feel like Jesus... 8)

Hey, G!!!

We are planning a food run to Hurghada next month, esp. for the newly found pork butcher.

Can you tell me where to get the lobsters??? I grew up in New England and would kill (!) fro a lobster!

Best!

Dr Who - Is the lobster from the red sea one with claws?? The only fresh ones we get out of the Med are the Slipper Lobsters and they aren't half as much fun! The only place we can get clawed lobster is from Carrefour at 150 LE a pop from the freezer section.

Sorry I haven't replied been knocking up some 'lobster & tomato soup and 'red-mouth grouper fish salad with pine nuts.
Fish market easy to find any taxi before 10.00am, take a big ice box they fill it with ice and fillet your fish, if you want. They are the 'no-claw type lobsters, one is a nice looking furry 'dougal thingy, the other more like 1/2 kilo cornish minus 'bitey bits..so buy many cause you don't get 'claws. must dash the 'sweaty says hes' hungary...8)
al fresco tonight....
