You can have them done no problem in Cairo and I would suspect it would be no problem in Luxor too.
I just went to a gynaecologist surgery and the doc done mine.
Had the result in 2 weeks and the slide and report was handed to me in an envelope when I went for the check up appointment. The office send it to the lab and the doctor in the lab does the report then gives the slide and the report back to the doctors office, he then gives it back to you for checking and safekeeping.
Just choose a female gynaecologist.
I also had a uterine scan done at the same time and this was included in the price.
I think it might be normal procedure?

Depends on how good she is at withholding information. You see the way it works is that the patients are usually chronic and know their symptoms and everything about their case quite well. If the students don't pay a tip, they just neglect to tell them all their symptoms that they would need to know to be able to make a proper diagnosis. The test cases get away with this because the professors aren't in the room during the physical examination. The student takes the patient's history and then goes to discuss the case with the professor in another room.

They are poor, chronically ill people, maybe they can't work, so it is an opportunity for them. It could be worse. At least they don't go so far as to tell the students the diagnosis in exchange for tips. They do it in a way that they can't be accused of helping the students to cheat! The students still have to use their own knowledge to pass.

Sometimes they have to buy a body to be able to practice. Some undertakers will dig up a body as soon as the family has buried it and sell it for this purpose.
Fortunately in my husband's day the medical schools weren't yet overenrolled so he did get to practice on real bodies.
