For those that are interested, (like me) on Oct. 26th Amazon are to release Paranormal Egypt with Derek Acorah. The D.V.D is 480 mins long and looks at The Vally of The Kings, Tut, Rameses 3rd and many more on Egypt's first British paranormal investigation. The DVD will cost £21.99.

Does anyone really believe that guy, or do you just watch it for the entertainment value?

The good part about it is that he will be going into places not open to the public, as well as an over view of Luxor. We met Derek in John& John's about two years age when he was filming this. Yes, he can be a bit cheesey, but good fun and that's what life is about.

This series was on C5 last year and it was good entertainment.

Some of the guides that were with him were fascinated by him though.

Derek Acorah was exposed as a fake and kicked off the series 'Most Haunted"
I can remember seeing the Paranormal Egypt one and it just made me role my eyes, everything he said would be common knowledge to anyone interested in Ancient Egypt.
Must confess a friend dragged me to see one of Derek Acorahs live shows a few years ago, and all I can say about it is "what a set up"!!!

Hmm, I remember this show coming in for a right panning in Ancient Egypt Magazine fairly recently. Lots of running around and "can you hear me Rameses" nonsence.
Oh well I guess it's a way to earn a living I suppose but I do wonder how on Earth they had permission to film such rubbish in such sensitive areas. :x
