A dry cleaner in Arabic is: tandeef aala en-nashif.

If that fails, try 'tandeef jaff' - that's what my DH instructs when sending his suits to be dry cleaned :)

My only concern was that most places seem to be laundries - and I prefer not to have my Pringles returned fitting my 20 kg. dog!!!!!!

The new limited edition flavours are quite nice. The sea salt and cracked pepper is rather moorish :)

I assume Scotts pringles are the golfing brand rather than the edibles

tandeef is cleaning, as in cleaning solution mahlool tandeef ( contact lens cleaning solution), nadeef is clean as in to clean some thing nadeef oda, to clean a room. Tandeef jaff is literally cleaning dry which should be understood too.

Only on L4U could a topic about dry cleaning morph into a discussion of Pringles!

Looking for a new dry cleaner myself, needed my carpets doing (after previous fiasco's I ain't doing them any more!) vaccumed them all, rolled them up, got them all down in the lift and to the shop only then to discover they stopped doing carpets two day ago. The doormans wife offered to wash them herself, but past experience has shown me they put a ton of arial on and don't rinse it off.

But anyway! Hope your pringles stay actual size Scott!

Wow! I never dreamed I'd create such confusion! I thought ALL Brits knew Pringles. We only have a few jumpers but they are beautiful. Here is the Co. link:

Loving this topic!!

Scott, being a true Scotswoman of course I know of Pringle!! Should the dry cleaning be a catastrophe you can stock up on the genuine articles in a store in Arkadia Mall in Cairo (forgotten the name of it at the moment!!).

Goddess - ah yes, the Egyptian stylee of washing rugs with Ariel and buckets of water - guaranteed crispy carpets every time!! :?
