I have to admit to wanting the competition to come back and then to my dismay all I can find are people at dinner tables or sitting on sofas for Christmas, I intend to try and find something glittery this weekend.
Our first snow of this weekend had been falling for just 30 minutes...I got this through the kitchen window and the lad had insisted that his mum take him toboganning Poor mum
all I can find are people at dinner tables or sitting on sofas for Christmas
I had the same problem Sue so had to pop a camera in my pocket when I went into town......sounds like you need to do that when you go to get the last of the Christmas provisions.
The decorations in some of the larger chain stores are very pretty.......
More lovely snow! Had the "out"laws for a visit today so had a lovely walk in the snow - it is soooobeautiful and love the way it makes everything the same
the garden is under a blanket of snow....very important to remember to put food and water out for birds and other wildlife
Got home and put some logs on the fire....then made an apple pie
Very easy just layer apples thinly sliced with layers of fruit - sultanas raisins blackberries(delish) I use white granuated sugar with some brown on top seal with milk and decorate top with spare pastry.......scrummy hot with cream or ice-cream ......and one happy husband!
Nope, don't mind at all - we can share the driving to get to Jewel's place twice as fast and hopefully before all that deee-licious apply pie is gone........
@ LLL im sorry hon, i dont drive so will ahve to leave that to you, but i will supply travel picnic, and if the apple pie is all gone, i will bake us one
You get out of life what you are prepared to put in x
I can, for sure drive to get food and with Jayway splitting the driving we can get there double quick! Will give us more time to EAT! Still got room in the car for one more too! Anybody else want to join us - got one more backseat to fill. Am sure Jewel won't mind!
For the photography fans, I have been having a play around in PSP X2 and thought you may like a look at some of the results that can be obtain with a little time and effort.
