Not sure - I always thought lentils were pretty tasteless but Ebitaksu had one of the most terrific recipes in the world. Also provided some great recipes for Dhaal - so possibly she has some that would make Couscous taste heavenly......!!!

I LOVE couscous. It is all in how your cook it and what you put in it. Obviously you had some bad couscous. Mine is to die for.

Obviously you have never eaten cous cous merguez in the algerian quarter of Paris, once there were more cous cous restaurants than Mc D.... 8)

I have eaten couscous merguez in that area and love it. But you know they are now redeveloping all that area and knocking down or doing up some of the old flats and streets. Have n't been for a few years but used to spend a lot of time there. The market at Barbes was just like being in Egypt (well probably more Morocco or Algeria).
I love couscous with a good tasty sauce or even cold in salad with plenty of fresh mint and parsley.
