The Pagan Hive
Greetings, We (yes "We") greet you warmly & offer the hand of friendship to all who are Willing to accept it.
The Pagan Hive is a collective of people who have chosen to work co-operatively, our combined intent is to seek to spread the concept of unconditional Love, we also encourage free thinking & open debate on many topics. We seek not to be devisive or upsetting to anyone, though we do anticipate offering challenges to "established or redeived Wisdom".
We hope to be able to contribute to your Forums, and seek your help in doing so. Please give us your advice & guidance as we seek to join you in the quests that Life prents.
Bright Blessings

"Oooo" or might that be: "Oook"? The "same lot as Whom?

I assumed these must be the real Hive and the other posts were spoofs.
We like good humour, but rarely seek to involve it in a debate

Still, it's nice to welcome a collective of free thinkers who all seem to speak with the one voice...
As stated in previous replies to AES, we try to gather a consensus about things, hence our "collective voice"

We (OK, I) really must point out that the "quote" facility is being manipulated here: we did not say all the things in that quote – it makes us look as though as we're talking to ourselves! The Pagan Hive wrote:Greetings, we thank all of you for your "Warm" welcome. Greetings, thank you for accepting our "hand of friendship", we appreciate that. As for charity, we put on music festivals in order to help raise money for such good causes. We hope in the near future to help raise money for "Help for Hero's", Which although we are no advocate of turmoil & war, we see as a good cause. As for you forwarding your bank details, (we suppose this to possibly be a joke, by the way!) we strongly encourage you not to do so. All of our charity events are discussed in "open discussion", by as many members as can make it to the meeting, then voted upon.Jayway wrote:Greetings Pagan Hive, and welcome to the forum. Many members of The Pagan Hive tend to not use money for their personal activities, wherever possible. Instead we "opperate" a "Local Economic Trading System" (LETS) wherein members (& none-members) agree to do things for each other through the use of barter
The system has many pros & cons, we particularly enjoy not having to pay any tax (VAT) etc on anything
Of course, there are times (unfortunately, lots of them) when the barter method is inapplicable, & so we are caused to use money then
Everything that the Hive does (yes we do gather actual honey, make mead & cider, hold various gatherings etc), we do not gather in the nude, not for any prudish reason, but because the UK tends to be wet, windy &/or raiany (Not to mention, Snowy) (we asked you not to mention snowy LOL)
We would appreciate help with writing blogs, how do we do that?
Someone was asking how many members we have, our local membership secretary indicates that in East Anglia (UK) there are 11,786
registered members, there are (Of course) branches elsewhere). She emphasises that membership is totally free, & that anyone interested can ask for a copy of our constitution
Bright Blessings
