I've posted one or two times already but as we will be arriving in Luxor soon, I thought it best to make a proper introduction.
My name is Liam, 27 years old, born in Derby, UK but living in Seoul, South Korea for the past 4 years. My partner, Yeo Joo, is Korean and we will be staying in Luxor for 3 months.
We are arriving on 24th August and will be renting an apartment in the village of El Tod on the West Bank, which we organised through the luxor4u website.
Anyway, we are really excited to be coming and look forward to meeting some of you in person over the coming weeks and months.
Hello Evergreen, I and am sure others will watch out for you while you are in Luxor for the next three months, and will help where ever we can, and will help you see Upper Egypt in the best possible way. We also have our staff up in Cairo, Alex and the Red Sea, and I am sure will help in any way they can. I for one shall look out for any request of knowledge you so require.
Wow, I didn't expect such an overwhelming response
As for the length of holiday, my partner and I decided to take a year break from work and we have been in the UK for the last 6 months. Obviously as a tourist she has to leave soon, so we decided Egypt an interesting and enjoyable place to stay for a few months.
We are really eager to meet up with some fellow expats who may be staying on the West Bank around that time so if any of you ladies and gentleman ever fancy a few cold ones, let us know.
Welcome Evergreen, El Tod is not too far from where I live, I know Derby fairly well too, spent some time at Swanick, and Matlock Bath...Welcome also to the forum
