The owner of this site is a friend of a friend of mine and came to stay with me with his wife whilst researching the Abydos dig-houses a couple of years ago. He usually comes to Egypt 2 or 3 times a year and travels all over Egypt in his search for dig-houses, though this year he decided to wait out the situation here. The research is thorough and well informed and there are a lot of good photographs. Fascinating article especially the boats.......

I have been in email contact with Marcel over the last month or so and we are arranging for him to give a lecture on the dig houses when he next visits in March or early April next year.
