City of Helike discovered

The ancient city Helke has been discovered. Said to contain the sacred shrine of Poseidon, the city "sank beneath the sea" according to ancient legend and is thought to be one of the sources of the legend of Atlantis. http://popular-archaeology.com/issue/de ... f-poseidon
