Chip Pan.

I know this might sound crazy, but here in the U.K. you can not buy a real old fashion chip pan any where. Yes I have tried Argos but there version is that the glass lid, yes glass for god sake don't even allow for the wire basket, read the reviews. I saw one in John Lewis, for christ sake you would be lucky to get half a dozen chips in the thing. I'm going to start cooking the things in lard like the old days, we all ate tons of the things and we never got fat, but this sun flower crap is useless,.......please help,......from a not so fat person trying to get thinner,.........what.

Maybe you could have a look at Amazon. I just searched on their website for "chip pan" and the first one that came up was stainless steel with a metal lid and basket, and the reviews said it holds enough chips for three adults :D

Chip Pan ? buy an ally deep pan a sieve bend the handle 'bobs your uncle £5 quid.
You'll be ditching the pan in a few months anyway due to the state of the pan....:cool:

Down grade one of your older saucepans and just buy a chip basket. Then treat yourself to a new saucepan, if necessary,to replace the one you've just turned into a chip pan!
