Hi Mr Keefy
a thought for you - I tend to use the new posts option which shows the subject and the link to the latest post
as I regularly look at the same post subject what is the possibility of a facility for a link to the last post viewed so that I/We can pick up from the last time rather than the last post and then going backwards to see what is new
know you like programming so a challenge for you

Re: post viewing options
Also if possible can we have a favourites box, trying to find interesting pieces of information I read later is a nightmare. While we are on it
tried playing 80's - 90's hits on the radio link but nothing happened. Is it me? (highly possibly I know)

It is what it is.

And Keefy...while your doing all these other modifications could you add a button I can press that will start my coffee machine so that I don't have to get up and do it myself and can stay here reading. Thank you.

@ Chiddy
You can alter the way you see your posts in decending/ascending order in your user control panel once you have viewed a post it will be taken from the posts viewed list till a new post is made in that topic, what you have not viewed though should still show in the list.
@ dsaxelby
At the top right of a topic there is a pull down menu Topic view post options click this and choose bookmark topic, you can then find all your bookmarked topics in your user control panel.
Maybe the 80's, 90's is off air at the moment, I will keep checking it (it was working a few days ago though).
@ Hepzi
I had to remove the button due to abuse

Re: post viewing options
descending wouldn't help as would have to scroll through possibly lots of posts - what I was asking for is a "flag" marking the last post read and then to scroll through in ascending sequence from that pointDJKeefy wrote:@ Chiddy

there is clearly something set whereby the system knows what is new since last login - just another level to pick up the last post viewed

Re: post viewing options
You could always do what I do. I view new topics, click on them, and press the End key - then I scroll up the screen - normally only through a few posts.
I might agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong!

Re: post viewing options
I do that but if it is a popular topic and has been a few days it is a lot of scrollingLivinginLuxor wrote:You could always do what I do. I view new topics, click on them, and press the End key - then I scroll up the screen - normally only through a few posts.

Re: post viewing options
I think that it would be good for an audio app then you could just lie back and have them read out to you with stop, repeat, next post and reply options. But not Keefys voice.

Contract dependant on T & C's offered.Dusak wrote:I think that it would be good for an audio app then you could just lie back and have them read out to you with stop, repeat, next post and reply options.
