Why is everything closed to me?

I have tried to reply in various forums, but they are all closed to me. Why is this site so unfriendly. I registered so that I might get help for the zip code of my husband's business. I live in America, but my husband lives in Luxor and knows nothing of zip codes. Being locked out from ways to ask or even exchange with people is very disappointing.

The site is not unfriendly Judy, You have to register with the site to make posts in the forums, just like 99% of any other social network sites (you need to register). If anyone could post without registering then we would be bombarded with 1,000's of spam posts each day. (selling kitchens, gold, tablets etc)

I did open the Suggestions and Help Enquiries forum to allow guests to post if they are having problems with the forum (though they have to answer the sortables question to submit their post) then it needs approving by a moderator before it is shown on the forum.

Dear Judy, I am dying to hear what you have to say, but can I suggest you don't post in large bold capitals, it comes across as very 'frontal lobotomy and american, try being a bit more subtle, and less in our face. A happy poster..
