Just a long shot, but does any one know of any one re-locating from Luxor, and wanting to sell any of their Household items?
Just waiting for flat to be finished ( Allah only knows when this will be!)
Most items are sourced already,but As here in Blighty, I am a veritable car booter/charity shop/aution hunter for household goods, I thought I would ask if any one knows of such items being for sale. Don't like to think of my self profiteering off the back of any persons who have had to make the decision to up sticks from Luxor, but if it saves the expense and trouble of shipping for them , and in the long run helps me and my purse strings, it would seem a good idea.
Good quality items will be afforded a fair and current price, and it would help me very much!

Don't use Facebook BB, got better things to do than see low life's slagging people they do not know off, with poisonous lies, venomous gossip, and C--p about people they have never even met. They even use closed groups to do it nowadays, or even use Facebook for chatting and e-mailing, just goes to show the poor education of these lowlifes, and gutter dwellers.

So you don't use Fb, as you regularly tell us, but he wasn't responding to you!

Non gutter dwellers meet on facebook as well. This sounds like the obvious choice for Maakari.

A very good and useful group.

I reached Iconic status on this particular section of FB when I was getting rid of a load of furniture, so much so that Ikea contacted me asking would I like the position of general sales manager for Egypt. I met many people that came to collect a variety of goods and I must say that they were all nice people so you can't tar every one with the same brush.

Good site, I like it, I located a leaf rake today, and believe you me in Luxor that's not easy, you try describing a leaf rake to an egyptian....
PS: some 'card on there even suggested I had one made locally, Yeh! right pyramid builders, next..........

Since we dont allow facebook links on Luxor4u, the best way to find it is type Sale, Exchange or Wanted - Luxor into the search at the top of the facebook page and it should come up, it's not a closed group, so you can request to join it.

I have had some lovely stuff from the sale wanted page on facebook. I got my lovely sun loungers off Dusak and a few other bits and bobs for the flat there. Join it and put a plea on there and people will contact you if they are selling stuff.

I've just noticed today that a new second hand shop has opened in Karnak. Same side as the Genesis, about a three minute walk going out of the village, away from the Temple. It has a large collection of stainless steel kitchen equipment outside so you can't miss it. I only had a moment to look inside and it looked like they had some nice stuff.

Not far from me then so will wander up and have a gander when I get there in few weeks time. I will come out of end of road by the "ex-Mubarrak" Gardens ?(Karnak Park now?) turn right, so temple will on me left, then where??
My inbuiit Sat Nag is not very good!

Walk along the full length of Karnak village, leaving the Temple behind you, pass the Hilton, pass the Karnak hotel and its another three minute walk on the same side.
