Has anyone ever seen a slow cooker there in Luxor??
I love my slow cooker, turns even the cheapest scrag end into melt in your mouth delicacy!
I have looked in B Tech and Plastic Alis and Sherifs, no joy! Any other places to try??
If not, very careful packing of luggage!

I love my slow cookers too. And that's not a typo as I do mean plural! :-)
Now I could be wrong about this but I think I've seen Slow Cookers for sale in Luxor. If I have the only likely places would have been the old Duty Free shop (back of Emilio) or in the newest supermarket that opened - Raghabs (?) - in TV street.
Alternatively, have a look at souk.com - you may find one there.

Sorry to say I bought mine in from the UK as I couldn't find one here. The ceramic part came in hand luggage for safety, & the rest in the case. I filled the voids with other bits to save space & removed UK plug for weight saving

DIY, virtually Zero cost, and no running costs..

Also, you could put a regular tagine pot into the ground with the embers of a fire that had some rocks in there as well.
Bury the pot and wait..

You must be able to buy them here as most of Luxor's restaurants have slow cookers in their kitchens.

The only oversight here regarding a slow cooker, is I would imagine, a constant supply of electricity is required ... the emphasis being on the word constant..

Cairo has plenty of them, look around Heliopolis, plenty of shops there have them, along with other things that cannot be bought in Luxor, and much cheaper!!

Popping up to Cairo for a slow cooker is like going to Hurgharda for a swim.....

Than most places that sell them in Upper Egypt Bennu, seems already you have got the grasp of the Luxor English quite good, after referring to your loss in another post

Got two out there brought from the UK - essential bits of kit
If the electric goes off the kicks in when it comes back on no problem
May have to wait for the meal but well worth it

Things really go over your own head sometimes, Dusak.

In summer I would dispense with the slow cooker and just leave the stew in a covered pot in the sun.
