I used to generate them years ago, and spend hours zooming into infinity.
Trippy Stuff
Go full screen for best effect..
Not sure if it will effect epileptic's so if you start frothing at the mouth, better switch off...

This is how I see all that is, the fractal perspective is where YOU sit in the universe, looking back at yourself...
Imagine if you could see sound, the frequency and the vibration.. This is in my mind a good visual representation.
That's how to understand the universe and time, relative to the space created,
Time is not linear, it moves rapidly back and forth, and to some extent, side to side..

Amazing the way fractals appear so frequently in nature.
Truly fascinating!

For best results watch on a large screen TV in a darkened room while smoking a good 'roll up''. Within a few moments you become a sub-atomic particle.

It's funny that you should mention that Mr D'....
From time to time, I see red / yellow fractals in my peripheral vision on the right side...
Which, is nothing when you compare that to seeing ghosts of people who are not long for this world...
Should have gone to Specsavers I guess...
THIS is the stuff I used to generate back in the early 90's..

I would recommend viewing this spectacular kaleidoscopic wonder in a darkened room on a big screen while smoking a special. Its amazing how quickly your mind is transported to a sub-atomic level.

Interesting fact number 1. When I posted the first post yesterday it didn't appear, still wasn't there ten minutes later as the system crashed, hence a re-post today. So the question is, was it there but I wasn't, or was I posting in an altered state of existence? Will anyone care? Do I care?

Interesting fact number 2 which didn't interest me three minutes ago but may interest others. In the eighties I bought a machine that had a special bulb behind a rotating glass disc which was sectioned off, each section containing a coloured oil. As the thing rotated you could zoom in or out. It was so good that you could cover the walls and ceiling with a continues slow flowing multitude of colours. To say it was relaxing would be an understatement. Just wish I still had one. I think that I'm back with the rest of you now

BM, have you ever seen the screensaver 'Gold Lace'? Many years old now but is still my favourite! Not unlike your own.

Not seen that one Ruby, but some of the visualisations in Windows Media Player are pretty cool.
IF you have Windows, then you can download fractint free from here.

I couldn't get it into full screen mode on my Windows PC, but it is as I remember it.
