Can anyone tell me in layman terms and step by step how to upload youtube video's and pictures to accompany forum posts, I have tried copy and paste, tried copy, hit the Img button (assuming this means image) and then pasted but nothing happens. I see many others posting pic and vids, I have tried but with no success. I have just gone through 8 pages of Help Enquiries to look but that was unsuccessful.

Here is how to post a picture.

Find the picture you want on the internet, and right mouse click on it, and select the option "copy image location"


Now, hit the Img Button on the menu in your post and you will get this. ( but no quotes inside, i put those in to display what you will see)




Notice that your cursor will be flashing in the middle of the image link..

Right mouse click and select "PASTE" exactly where you see the cursor flashing..
(or, if you do not have a steady hand with the mouse,) as soon as you have pressed the Img button, press and hold down any of the 2 SHIFT keys, and while doing so, press "Insert" once, and that will have the same effect as "Paste"..

You will end up with this ( I changed the letter M to N so that you can see how it looks during editing.)

This will work on your pictures you have stored on the forum as well, but make sure you click on your picture first before copying the location, otherwise you will get the small thumbnail preview..

Now, having clicked on the picture to make it full size, I right click and "copy Image Location" and pasted it inside the Img box.




Use the Preview option to check your post, and amened as necessary.


Youtube Video's ?

Find a video on youtube you want to display, copy the location from the address bar in your browser, OR if you hit "Thumb up" on the youtube video, there is a link that comes up underneath it, and you can right mouse click in that link and select "copy"

Now hit the Video button to get this (without quotes)

and Paste the link you copied in the middle like you did with the picture..

My mates wife is into anything Pig related, she has hundreds of pigs made from different materials,
but then her husband (my mate) owns an oil and gas pipeline cleaning company,
and the product they use to clean out the oil pipelines is a Pig..
(he's the fat ******* in the blue top at the back)
