Egypt's government has announced a nationwide curfew that is to commence at 7PM and last until 6AM for an unspecified period of time.

Luxor Times P.S: Curfew only in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Minia, Sohag, Assuit, Behira, Suez, North Sinai and South Sinai. Possibility that more governorates will be added when needed.

I thought nationwide was just that... ALL?

Mind you, If Luxor is not included, your best bets are to stay in-doors tonight

Yes its apparently like last time Luxor is not part of the Nation along with another 80%

Egypt’s interim cabinet declared a curfew lasting from 7pm until 6am in 12 governorates starting Wednesday. It will be in place for the entire month-long state of emergency that was imposed by the presidency earlier in the day.

The curfew is to be imposed in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Suez, Ismailia, Assiut, Sohag, Beni Suef, Minya, Beheira, South Sinai, and North Sinai. Those who do not abide by the curfew will be imprisoned, according to the cabinet’s statement

Within hours, the timing was altered to 9pm to 6am.

It took me a long time to get through to them on the phone as the first time would of interfered with our Thursday night Indian.
