Great song to set the morning mood..

Written by someone I have never heard of, JAMES R CENTORINO

Performed brilliantly by Black Sabbath after they kicked out that useless Drunken cokehead, Ozzy Osborne.. :up

phpBB [video]

Throw me a penny, And I'll make you a dream
You find that life's not always what it seems
Then think of a rainbow, And I'll make it come real
Roll me, I'm a never ending wheel

I'll give you a star
So you'll know Just where you are
Don't you know that I might be Your wishing well, your wishing well

Look in the water, Tell me what do you see ?
Reflections of the love you give to me
Life isn't money, It's not something you buy
So let me fill myself with tears you cry
(why) ?
Time is a never ending journey, Love is a never ending smile
Give me a sign to build a dream on, dream on...

Yeah, throw me a penny, And I'll make you a dream
You find that life's not always what it seems
Love isn't money It's not something you buy
Let me fill myself with tears you cry

I'll give you a star, So you'll know just where you are
Someday, some way you'll feel the things I say
Dream for a while of the things that make you smile
Don't you know, don't you know
Oh you know that I'm your wishing well
Your wishing well...

Yes indeed, one of the Good Guys.... :up
This was one of the songs that he sung that was not his own creation, but he clearly identified with the lyrics. I always thought he had written the song until recently.. :cg
Sadly he died in 2010 from Stomach cancer at the age of 67.. Just like my DD Grandad..
A very small man in stature, but a tremendously powerful voice..
Still, Life goes on, and if you know where to look, we still have Ronnie's words of great Wisdom to reflect upon.. RIP..

Put up a fight you believe to be right, and some day the sun will shine through..

Not quite how I imagined it would go... :tk ... A much better result all round in the end. Trusting one's higher power, and all that.. :cg

Today has been a good day spent in the mountains, Sun, blue sky, cool breeze, and lots of happy faces.. :up

Brew, Ciggie, Bed..... :zz
