The true cost of "war" rarely, if ever mentioned.

Luxor has both Christian and Moslem communities and the politics of the Middle East are equally diverse. Air your views on the situation.

The true cost of "war" rarely, if ever mentioned.

Post by jewel »

There is so much talk of "war"and aggression, military action etc.
What we rarely mention is the irresponsible presence of human race and our arrogance toward nature and other life forms with whom we share the Earth. What never counted as the results of war are the destroyed natural habitats, burned animals, dead birds, poisoned water sources, dead water life, destroyed vegetation and insects. We forget to mention the devastating effects of our fights for ideologies and market upon other life forms.

I don't have a plan......so nothing can go wrong!

The is an island on the Nile near Cairo once it was inhabited by rabbits an old man had watched the rabbits over the years eat all the food then watched them all wither away and die..there's a moral in there...

As individuals we are responsible for the countless deaths of wildlife whenever we travel by automotive means. We stand on and crush countless thousands of insects each year under foot, or by way of sprays against the annoying insects that irritate us. Even vegetarians kill plant life to eat. We continually pollute our own waters with chemicals from every day usage of cleaning agents. Even the fish in the oceans are suffering from mutations due to the massive release of human hormones attached to the disposal of woman's sanitary items. Fish are also showing signs of cancerous growths connected to the release of medications into the water supply's. Do any think about the thousands of gallons of colour dyes that are released each year into the water supply's just to change the aging affects of their hair? I think, before we start compiling lists concerning the devastating impact that wars create on the planet, we need to take a closer look at the continuum affects that we produce without a seconds thought. For every action we produce, there is always a reaction in nature.
Life is your's to do with as you wish- do not let other's try to control it for you. Count Dusak- 1345.

Do vegetarians really love animals, I wonder, if they eat the animals' food?
I might agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong!

Yeah but Stan, the Animals S*** on the vegetarians food..

Funnily enough, regarding my topic on the economy, I was going to get to Wars and how the Governments and Banks benefit from that.

Commercialism, ( going back to money and the Banks) is to blame for most of the damage to Wildlife and the entire planet in general.
Humans of course have to accept the blame as well, we cant just blame the banks, but in general, I blame the society we have created, although much of it can be blamed on commercialism.
Dont forget the Human suffering too Jewel.. Slaves taken from Africa and shipped halfway around the world in awful conditions, bodies of the dead thrown overboard into the Atlantic.

The Welsh and Scottish were kicked off the land, and wealthy businessmen stole the land we used to inhabit.
Back then, we were living in a sustainable fashion, in either crofts or farms or small communities, and were doing fine.

They say we were kicked off the land to feed the industrial revolution..

The POSITIVE aspect of the Topic on the Banks, comes after the collapse, and Free Energy, which is not "pie in the sky"..
I have a computer fan running by itself..Very simple really, it just involved introducing some Rare Earth magnets to it. it will run forever at zero cost.

people need to realise how they have been programmed by Society and to what extent.. I may be able to shed quite a bit of light on that..
This is why we do what we do, and I do not really blame people, because as J.C said.. "They Know not what they do".
And, why should they know what they do ? they are a product of society and know no different.

The Future is bright for mankind and this planet.. 30 years ago, it wasn't going to be that way, infact truth be told, most humans would have gone by now.

As LLL said,, The Lunatics DO run the Asylum.

War is one of the oldest and best forms of population control ever invented, and the bloodier the better. The world needs more wars. The main problem is that the "wrong" people tend to die.

With a smaller population, and assuming that the land was not polluted, there would be more meat to go round, and we all (except Jewel) know that meat is good!

A small herd of Sheep let loose in a Lush Savannah, given enough time, could turn it into a desert.
So, those sheep are responsible for the demise of all the other species living in said Lush Savannah..

Oh my Lord,. that reminds me of another one of those so called vision I had...
