An Al-Qaeda-inspired group based in Egypt's Sinai has said it was behind a bombing that targeted the interior minister in a failed assassination attempt, a statement on militant Islamist forums said.
"God has allowed your brothers in Ansar Beit al-Maqdis to shatter the security organisation of the murderer Mohamed Ibrahim through a martyrdom operation," the group said in the online statement, pledging further attacks.
A car bomb ripped through the interior minister's convoy as he was leaving home for work on Thursday, killing one person.
Ibrahim, who was travelling in an armoured car, was unscathed.
In the statement, the militant group which has in the past claimed attacks against neighbouring Israel, apologised "for not killing the tyrant", threatening another attack against him and army chief Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The group blamed both men for the killings of hundreds of Islamist supporters of president Mohamed Morsi, overthrown by the military in a popularly backed coup on 3 July.
"We vow to God to avenge all those who killed Muslims and assaulted their honour, the foremost being Sisi and Mohamed Ibrahim," the statement said.
"We call on all Muslims in Egypt to stay away from all military and interior ministry installations to preserve their lives," it added.

Same as is with Syria at the moment over the chemical attack. In this instance you do not really know who made the phone call/ statement or who made the bomb or who delivered it. Could work to the advantage of both sides. The statement that all Muslims should keep clear of certain installations would certainly help those that are protecting them. A cost free riot/gatherings control. If these terrorist organizations really need to be accredited to any particular attack, then they should adopt the code systems that the I.R.A used in their war against the Brits. If the code was correct when checked then it was one side or the other rightfully claiming rightful ownership of the attack. This way you would at least stand a better chance of discovering fact from fiction. If you remove the guesswork you remove a large percentage of the problem.

But we do seem to know who sold them the chemicals in the first instance, don't we ?
But that doesn't matter really does it ?........

Call me old fashioned but aren't Sisi, Mohamed Ibraham, the innocent bystander that was murdered and the majority of the other people injured by this bomb Muslims; so by their own statement they admit they are without honour.

Funny admitting to something like that.
As kids we blew up a tree in a park once, we never admitted it, why ? ....

Ps; I have blown up other things since, perhaps thats where the like stemmed from, funny ol'life!...
Pss: "they had to stop the trains over the Forth Rail Bridge once, when I blew the arse out of a sunken trawler, even more fun!

Well no it doesn't in the grand scheme of things Who2. Products are for sale and thus purchased. What happens after the sale is legitimately concluded is not the affair of the seller. If these goods are then sold on to a third/forth party without control or documentation then again the first seller can't be held responsible for their illegal usage. Click on the internet and make your own nuclear bomb. I very much doubt that one gram of all the explosives used by people not authorized to use them to create death and destruction over the last hundred years or so bought them directly from the manufacturer.
