Gas bottles are getting more and more difficult to get hold of, a few Egyptians said it is going to get worse

Power cuts are happening again.

Long queues have started at the petrol stations again.

Whats causing the shortages this time, does anyone know?

I know that when my friend had her sisters wedding the other day, no extra gas was available for the cooking. A slight skirmish ensued in the street until the delivery men sorted it out with a couple of extra ones. The gas delivery men are now only giving out what that particular family is entitled to under the family I.D system. But getting short on the streets, non in Karnak for four weeks. I've had a couple very short power cuts the last month, but two very long ones. I class long as over two hours.

At least we don't need the air con now. Be grateful for small mercies. Water situation over here is appalling, every day it is off for at least 3 hours.

Really, I'm amazed I've been doing a lot of gardening & getting new plants in so would notice water being cut off here.

We have a roof tank so don't really notice it going off indoors, but there is usually a slight drop in pressure which we are aware of. I have only heard somebody complain about no water once when she went to water the horses but it came back on just as we were going to fill the bucket indoors

I'm lucky then as my water pressure [tap] is mega strong, even good without the pump on.

I'm just blimmin pleased to have any water, electric or gas after this summer.

Been a gas shortage up here for a few weeks so I'm trying to eke out yet another gas bottle over the next few days.

Carrie. have you noticed that around 10pm the water to the WB is cut until around 6am the next morning, every day

Water shortages ? not really noticiced as I have 1000 liters 35ft up on my roof, and a 40ft sunken well.
