I think it was an acid trip that made this one of my favourites, when I was 20.
I knew his tabla player Caleb, he was a sufi he would go days no food no sleep no drugs, just playing this sitar he had.
Years later Elton gave me a bugler alarm! it was a 2ft high Ninja Turtle that 'shouted at you if you activated it.
He was well OTT, my mate Janet JSP loved him, that's how we met.
An 'inspiration to all….
Ps: almost forgot, my mate 'big-nose Nick made him a phallus in glass supposedly filled with HIV + blood for his aid's charity.
