So why is she using your wifi? Her dongle should be connecting via her mobile phone package. :?: :?: :?:

Yes it is Brian but the signal is crap so that is why we tried to get her on my wifi when she is at my house.

Go into the Options / settings of Internet Explorer off the menu, if there is no menu at the top, then press the ALT key, and a menu will appear.
Under the connections tab, and network, select automatically detect network settings when your friend is connected to the WIFI.
Also make sure the DONGLE is unplugged, as Internet explorer will try to connect via the Dongle.

Close Internet Explorer and re open it, and the home page should open.. :up

Sorry I couldn't be more specific, my memory isnt that great, and I was using Linux when I answered, but now I have a Windows box I can use for reference.

So, there should be a menu bar at the top of Internet explorer, just below the address bar, if not, then hit the "ALT" key, and it will appear.
Select the "tools" category, then "internet Options", then from the open Window, hit the "connections" tab.
Then click on the "LAN Settings" button at the bottom and ensure the "Automatically detect settings" check box is ticked, and hit OK, and then "ok" again on the previous window.
Now restart Internet Explorer without the Dongle inserted, and you should be good to go.. :up
