Oh!!!! British Politics :zz :zz :zz Its going to be interesting to see what happens at the next election in the UK, will they vote for a party who has got the UK almost back from the brink, or will they forget the old Government and vote for them? The ones that got the UK in the mess that has taken 4 years to sort out and a created a lot of hardship for the British people.

It'll be even more interesting to see what happens in the Egyptian election!
Who will they vote for?
And will it make any difference to YOUR lives?
Question thrown right back at you CE!
You're the one who lives there!Any opinions?
And what concern is British politics to you?
You don't live here!

P.s I'm voting for "independance!"We're a strong nation!!!
"Alba gu brath!"

The rest just sucks!

Glad to hear your voting for independence ST!

But you will have to wait until 2017 when we get the referendum! :D

We already know what the result of the Egyptian election will be (I don't believe in miracles).

What will be 'interesting', and possibly of concern to expats & visitors, is how the government deals with the economic situation and the reaction of the general public both to the what may be painful financial measures and to Sisi's avowed intent to adopt a 'zero tolerance' policy to dissent.

Just been reading on my FB page that any Muslims living in the UK are to get extra cash for their extra wives. Hail to the polygamist. I think that its time to start thinning the herd.

Well ST I hope you get the result you long for but I don't think you will. If Scotland does vote to go it's own way would you be in favour of once again joining the European Union and becomming part of the Euro zone?
As to British politics I suppose I could be accused of being unpatriotic having left to live here and to be honest I'm not interested in any of them and what they say, all the same in it for themselves. As far as I can see there's not one of them with principles.
Here well I don't think we need a vote, Pres Sisi it is, but like has been said before we have to wait to see what Sisi will do and whether the Egyptian people will rebel once again.

I think that ballot papers should have an extra box on them labelled 'none of the above', if I vote for any party it will be UKIP we badly need to get out of the EEC, and if we also lose the barbarians north of Carlisle all will be well

p.s. The Antonine and Hadrians walls were built with good reason :)

Yes you can spoil them, but a none of the above would be a more definite vote of no confidence in the present three party system, and give the percentage of those who also disagree with the way things are.

I would not consider you unpatriotic because you left the UK Carrie, some of the most patriotic people ive ever met are ex pats.

Some leave because they care about their country so much they cant stand to live in it when they consider it to have gone down the tubes or to the dogs etc.

I'm very patriotic, that's why I refuse to pay any UK tax, not that I need to, but if I did, like... I prefer to see it go to help Mr. White, 96 tomorrow, fought in the war and has to live on charitable hand outs.

Looks like I was right about the no confidence vote, not only in the U.K. but in France and other European countries. Only downside is, Putin will be rubbing his hands with glee at Europe falling apart at the seams.
