Now I have always been a rubbish gardener, usually farm sized places or terrace type places.
Hayters, rotorvators & chain-saws or 'pot plants, hanging baskets & window boxes.
Here in sunny Egypt it's a whole new ball game, basil good, hollyhocks crap, huge-cactus's, rubbish roses, my lawn alone stands as an achievement to English tenacity.
NOW GQT, Gardeners question time Do they ever answer my question ?
Iv'e a better chance of winning on the Premium Bonds.
I reckon with 5.5 million British ex-pats living abroad that GQT is missing the point somewhat.
What with that pain in arris Durham 'bird ranting on in her accent, they need to broaden their horizons
literally....
Ps and answer my bloody questions, I send enough of them.

Today, I have been outside planting Marigold's in the front and back garden.
Now, the plan is, that if these prove to be successful, then next year I will plant African and French Marigolds from seed's
instead of the dwarf Orange French marigold plants I just planted.

I once had a patch of our back garden when I was a kid. My Art teacher lent me his rotovator and gave me some red potato's to plant
then I added Lettuce, radishes, carrots and Tomato's. After that year, I left home, so I dont think anyone bothered after that.

I did one Saturday morning create borders on our front lawn, in an attempt to get my mother planting flowers again, which she did.
"Well Stocked Gardens" was the description the estate agent gave of out garden when the time came for the house to be sold...

Now I await with anticipation, my Sunday Dinner. Roast Lamb, Roast and boiled potatoes, and Brocolli and lots of gravy....

To 'hone my point: The most recent RAJAR figures show that over the course of a typical week over 1.4 million people catch at least 5 minutes of the programme - a figure that has remained essentially unchanged in the last 5 years.
Speaking as a full program listener, power & connection permitting, and as just 1 of 5.5 million British ex-pats I'm going to write again to the producers or start my own program.
