Short notice - only posted Facebook 25 mins ago. Clearly the consular team think that Luxor is such a sleepy hollow no one will already have plans on a Monday evening.

It’s our pleasure to announce our meeting with the British Community in Luxor. The consul and a member of the consular team will be available to speak to members of the community to discuss any issues of interest.
The meeting will be held at the Gaddis Hotel, Khaled Ibn Walid st, Luxor on Monday 16 June from 18:00-20:00.

(No information as to whether ham butties will be served. ;-) )

Once again like you say Hepzi. another short notice on a meeting. You would think that with booking flights and arrangements, they would have known this some days ago. It may be they do not want too many people to attend and give them the thumbs down or it maybe they did not get their supply of ham in time to give proper notice.

If anyone attends is correct Hepzi. I went to one 4 years ago and found it not to be all that informative at all. You really get more information from Forum Members on Consular activity. But, thanks for publishing on the forum, I am sure there will be some that will go if not for the photoshoot, for the ham sandwich's
