Life lessons are lessons that may be taught to persons who can benefit from them in the future and more than likely will be used in various aspects of their lives, for the rest of their time on earth.
Such lessons come in all sorts of shapes and forms, and may come unexpectedly to some, yet knowingly to others.
Life lessons present to us useful knowledge and wisdom that may, or may not have been otherwise learned if we weren’t able to experience the things we experienced in order to learn the lessons in the first place.
Many would say a life lesson is best learned from experience without getting out into the world and experiencing life as the rest of us know it. Unfortunately the probability of a person being less knowledgeable and less wise when it comes to what to do in certain certainly is increased.
All of our victories and all of our failures are best kept in mind as life lessons. We must use the past as an eternal, unchanging blueprint in order to best plan and build for our future, and in many cases alongside the future of others.
A life lesson.

There's a time for everyone, if they only learn
