I want to post a photo in a new topic but I cannot find anywhere the instructions for posting a photo, I did a serach but nothing came up that was of any help.
Can you give me simple instructions on how to include a photo in my new topic post?

Thank you Chris for asking, I wanted to post some photos from "my pictures" folder on my computer, followed the instructions and still can't do it. Further info Keefy please for this thicky.

One tip I was given a long while ago was to use Picassa. It's easy to re-size photo's in there and then put into an 'Export' file. If you do that you should be able to upload your photo's easily enough from your computer (Export) files to your album here. I don't think it's actually necessary to put things into your album here (can't remember actually) before putting into a post but once they are in your personal album they are easy to transfer to a post.

When you take a photo you must resize it to small with whatever program you have and save it on your computer or laptop. (i.e. SAVE AS ...)
On L4U - Click GALLERY (top of the page)
Then scroll down to the bottom of the writing (just before the photos start) and you'll see USERS PERSONAL ALBUMS with you User name ie. Lovelyladylux
Click on your USER NAME
When this screen opens click on UPLOAD (and flashes Image too).
This page will open giving you another icon that says BROWSE. There are 3 of these.
When you click on BROWSE you go to where you've saved your photos (I keep mine in pictures). You click on the photo you want and OPEN and it will move this photo into L4U.
You can only upload 3 at a time and when you do click on CONTINUE and then SAVE.
Super easy. Hope this helps...and then when you're writing your post just click on GALLERY and INSERT PHOTO and it will insert the photo you click on into your post.

I am sorry but I found Keefy's instructions so confusing - I just want to upload an image from 'My Pictures' I dont want to go to Google
The instructions from LLL were great except at the end - LLL says to Click on GALLERY and INSERT PHOTO
Well when I click on GALLERY there is no item for INSERT PHOTO
Where am I going wrong?

With another way of posting a photo in a post, however if the photo is in your own personal album, the way LLL said is the easiest way....
If you click the Green Gallery button (when you are making a post) the BBCODE BUTTONS are above the place where you type your message, this will open another page (or popup) underneath the thumbnail there is a blue button saying Insert image into post, just click this once, this will add the code to your post.
If you have done it right, then it should look like below (except the number will be different for each photo). This will show your photo once you submit your post.
