I keep getting an enormous pop up every time I log on advertizing You-tube in Arabic. It takes absolutely ages to fade out so I can only view half the screen. Anyone else getting one, just on L4U?

You must have some malware/adware virus on your PC/Laptop there is no advertising or pop-ups on any of our sites.

As soon as I logged off I wished that I had phrased it better. But, having said that, I could learn to live with one. I was always told at school to think big.

Did you solve your enormous pop up problem Dusak?

It is the restricted tenting effect on ones trousers that cause the most problems and pain

Im getting the same with an etisilat pop up. I have run spybot and its clear of adware/malware. Don't know if Dusaks pop up is the same provider but its happening on both my laptop and tablet

No Keefy, still popping along as I'm attempting to read this and reply. I too am on Etisalat and I think that you have hit the nail on the head. A few weeks ago while listening to some music on you-tube I started to get some kind of message from Etisalat saying that I could only view you-tube on a Friday. I think that I mentioned this a few weeks ago on here. As I said, its only on L4U, nothing else. I did a full sweep yesterday and nothing was found.

I solved the problem by waving to my neighbours first thing in the morning greeting them with a hearty ''good morning'' with arms outstretched. The peels of laughter and jabbing fingers towards my mount pride soon deflated any optimism that I had in regards to receiving a thumbs up. From little acorns do mighty let downs grow.

How strange, like I said there is nothing on Luxor4u to cause this.... Robbo70/newcastle is this happening on other web pages or just Luxor4u?

I've never had it on L4U...but often elsewhere...like my FB & other places (sorry...can't recall which...maybe my hotmail)

As soon as I logged on today I got a different pop up, all in Arabic this time so haven't a clue what it was advertising. And as I mention logging on, I now have to log on using the main user panel that shows your log in details, but not when there is no pop up, just click on the top as usual. At the same time as this latest pop up I received a notification that I had mail from Etisalat which I read. It was about You-Tube, but the only English was the name and the number 250. So I think that it is definitely Etisalats doing. I will just have to grin and bear it.

Have you deleted all cookies, etc.?

I forgot about that, will do that now. Today's log on was free of pop ups, and seemed a tad faster than the last couple of weeks. The only problem now is my little pointy thing has slowed down.

That can happen, so I have been told...

Be aware that a low flow can be one sign of prostrate problem. :-[

Far two many double entendres on this post. Good job I'm able to stand proud in any situation. Back to normal today, four biggies to contend with.

Glad to hear you can still stand proud Dusak I can still stand proud, but for some reason I keep forgetting why I am Standing, proud that is. . Anyway I shall be out in March or April so will able to stand proud on my balcony in glorious sunshine and not be arrested as I am not overlooked.

Not overlooked?.....unless someone has taken advantage of the rather lax building regs to erect a six storey apartment block in your back garden while you were away
