In my daily reading of the nonsensical I once came across article that suggested where "porn stars"get their names from.

It seems that they should use the name of their first pet as a forename,and their mother's maiden name as the surname.

It got me thinking!I would be "Sherry Gillespie."I think that's kinda cool!I can just see the credits!

An ex-boyfriend of mine woulda been "Snowpie White!"Bit ridiculous when you think of it!Can't imagine he'd have had much success in the movies!

What would your name be?

That daft springer spaniel came to us with the name "Shirley."

My mum just hated animals being called "human"names...so she changed it to "Sherry!"

Good name for a porn star..excellent one for a crazy springer spaniel!

But...she was just so beautiful,liver and white,big brown eyes,lovely markings,freckles!

One's mother's maiden name is one of the two security questions often asked by banks and other bodies to verify one's identity online. Along with one's date of birth it should be not made available indiscriminately. Being in "Just for fun" is no excuse.

But I realise that in this internet age it is very difficult to protect oneself from identity fraud.

All depends on how you are using it!
That stupid dog was the first family pet.I've had other animals since then,cats and hamsters with an abundance of different names.
Really doubt that anyone could steal my identity,can't see why they would want to!
They'd probably get a raw deal if they investigated my bank account!Not enough there to interest them!

Just to clarify neither SLACK nor ALICE is MY MOM's maiden name and if I was really porning it up I might like the name LOOSE Lois or SULTRY Cheryl (and those are not my Mom's maiden name either)........GHEESH!! What it takes sometimes to have a light moment on here.......

Am sure all the guys would opt for the names Peter, Richard and Willian + derivations
