What planet was this guy from to think this was funny? I have never been interested or impressed by her, but no-one should be subjected to cruelty like this. Any traveller who flies will sympathise, even if they have never worried about their safety. The video shows (understandably) very real fear.

Paris Hilton pranked by TV show, subjected to horrifying simulated plane crash

Paris Hilton in disturbing plane crash prank
The 34-year-old socialite has been subjected to a horrifying hoax after a prank show host fooled her into thinking the plane she was on was going to crash.

Regardless of your opinion of Hilton, who is best known for reality television programs and nightclub appearances, it's difficult not to sympathise with her in this particularly frightening moment.

Paris Hilton has been tricked into thinking she was in a crashing plane on a TV show.

I just can't get my head around many of these prank shows, and I include things like You've Been Framed too. They are just cruel and insensitive and rarely funny.

BM, your comment reminded me of a friend who, years ago, had a t-shirt printed saying " When God made man - She was joking!"

It's extremely popular in Egypt......I find my friends watching it all the time.

Then again....so was Arabs Have Talent. :urm:

It's sad to see what was a great TV and cinematograhic nation ripping off tired old western shows....and doing it so badly.

P.S With the state of the economy it may be a while before we see Egyptian versions of "The Apprentice" or "Dragon's Den"....but you never know
