I've had this film for some time and finally got into it...

Gertrude Bell another eccentric & clever English fruitcake..but they do her an injustice here.
Beautifully directed and filmed.
Werner Hertzog, a right German nutter also directed another German 'nutter Klaus Kinski.

So, it's all a bit flimsy on the historical facts, but the camel scenes are to die-for and really nice camels..
