Egypt is probably capably of feeding itself (arguable) but waste and mismanagement mean that it imports on a prodigious level. This technology means that waste is reduced. The savings claimed are almost beyond belief except that small scientific steps rather than grand ministerial statements can deliver practical benefits for Egyptians.
