Just seen on Sky News, 8 Police Officers have been murdered in Helwan Cairo. What the hell is happening to Egypt? The Country needs a term of peace and stabilisation, instead all we get is violence.

If you took more notice of Egyptian news you'd know that, since 2013, hundreds of police officers have been killed......mainly in Sinai but also in Cairo and other cities.

What's happening to Egypt?

Try 'Google'......we've had a couple of revolutions and there is a continuing battle between the forces of the regime and those opposed to them.

Is this stopping investment in the rest of the Country then, where peace prevails?

Not until they wipe out all of the 'beardy weirdy's. Sooner the better...

There's no money for investment in "the rest of the country".

It's all being spent on arming to the teeth the biggest army in the Middle East, with sophisticated military hardware and even, we hear, spy satellites.

Oh....and of course paying the salaries of the 300,000 plus soldiers, captains, colonels & generals, and the associated social, medical and pension benefits for them and their families.

And if they lose the fight in the north/Sinai....I dare say it'll spread to the south which possibly makes that region an unattractive proposition for outside investors at the moment.
