From The Embassy of Denmark in Egypt:

THE WALL – SANDUQ EL-DUNIA

The Sanduq al-Dunia is a gateway to debate, discuss and dream about the future of Cairo as well as digging through its vast history and unsurpassed heritage. The Sanduq al-Dunia is an interactive website with the state-of-the art technology. The Sanduq al-Dunia invites its users to take part by uploading pictures, personal memories and film clips.

The project originated at the Museum of Copenhagen and Væggen/The Wall is an award winning project. The original Wall is 12 meters long and 2 meter high and is an interactive platform, a multi touch interactive screen through which you can glide from one neighbourhood to another and bring to life the streets of the city of Copenhagen.

The Sanduq al-Dunia has been a long term project started in 2011 between DEDI - Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute in Cairo and the Museum of Copenhagen with the aim of creating a wall in Cairo. You can read more about the Copenhagen Wall on their site.
